OUR WINES
Our wine collection
Choosing a wine can be intimidating; so many different types of wines, different grapes and different ages. Then deciding which wine goes with which food, culminating in the challenge of finding the exact wine you want! The Wine Guy on Skye takes the pressure off and releases you to enjoy everything Skye has to offer, confident that you have quality wine to hand to enhance your time on the Misty Isle. Sparkling, white or red, the Wine Guy on Skye has a selection to suit every palate and every meal.

Sourced from the beautiful Hawkes Bay in New Zealand to the vineyards of Burgundy, from the French Provence to the chalky Downs of Sussex and Kent, each wine has been personally selected and the portfolio assigned by the Wine Guy on Skye to compliment the Misty Isle – views and food in perfect harmony over a glass of wine, or two….

OUR SELECTION OF SPARKLING WINE
A celebration deserves fizz, even if the reason to celebrate is merely being on the Misty Isle! Crack open the bubbles and enjoy the view. Champagne may be the answer, or a lighter Prosecco-style fizz may pop with joy. You can also try a quality dry sparkling wine from England and be amazed by what is being grown on home soil now.
OUR SELECTION OF WHITE WINE
Our zingy Sauvignon Blanc from Sussex is ideal for the excellent seafood from the waters of Loch Bay. Our premium produce perfectly matches the quality of our unoaked chardonnay and chablis from France. If you like the zing and citrus flavours, but also like some floral notes, try our beautiful English Bacchus as a fabulous alternative.
OUR SELECTION OF RED WINE
The Wine Guy on Skye has sourced a beautiful Syrah from New Zealand, ideal for sundowners, lamb or spicy meats, and a Cabernet Sauvignon from Provence in the South France ready for steak or roasts, or just for those moments in front of the fire pit. Add the unique award winning Pinot Noir, home grown in Oxfordshire on the banks of the Thames that will amaze you at its quality; one to try as you won’t be disappointed.
